Brazilian Mogiana

We are glad to tell you that this Brazilian Mogiana coffee is a super sweet, nutty, low acidity coffee with lighter body, in a mild, pleasantly refreshing cup. It's not overly complex, but sometimes you just want a pleasant cup of coffee. The lighter body is joined with a very sweet and nutty flavor that makes this a particularly refreshing cup. Brazilian Mogiana coffee has taken its place in our hearts of one of the preferred warm weather coffees.

The vast majority of these Brazilian coffees are they are dry processed (the fruit is allowed to dry on the seed and then is mechanically removed instead of being soaked in a vat of water to let fermentation loosen the sticky fruit), or as a coffee marketers there call it "naturally processed". Coffee from the Mogiana region located in the north east part of the state of Sao Paulo in southern Brazil is a medium to light bodied coffee, smooth as silk, and has a moderate to low acidity. The low acidity is fairly typical for a Brazilian coffee, but light bodied? Surprise!

ROASTED IN SMALL BATCHES TO GUARANTEE AN EVEN, MEDIUM ROAST - Small batch roasting is more expensive because of labor costs, but this roasting technique ensures that each batch of coffee is of superior quality and roasted evenly to the desired roast profile, not mass produced. This process draws out the best possible flavor in each batch. Small batch roasting permits a higher quality of standards in coffee throughout the complete process: from picking out the correct coffee beans, to choosing the correct charge & drop temperature & then to slowly roasting each small batch to perfection.

Enjoy,

Darling & Family
